New Life ; New Beginning ; New Steemian - Post #1 #anotherlife

Hello Fellow Steemians,

I’m going straight to the point that this post will be talking about as I introduce myself in the meantime :

This is not going to be a perfect Vlog.

Yes, you got it, this is going to be a Vlog, good start.

In the best case an everyday Vlog. For the whole 2018 year. At least this is what I decided at the end of 2017.

Which brings us back to the final statement of this first post : Nothing is perfect. I’m 15 days late already. And no specific idea of what I will write and talk about.

I – What am I doing here ?

I got insanely hyped up with cryptocurrency by the end of 2017, but I couldn’t risk more money than I did (Got 1 or 2 Litecoin for the sake of it), for two reasons :

• No real knowledge of the whole deal
• Not enough money (nor free time to figure out exactly where to put the few I have to invest).

Though I felt something was going on, is going on right now, and I couldn’t stick with the « maybe later » decision.

I have the chance of having friends very interested in cryptos, and they convinced me not to miss another wave. I should probably wait and see, some say, and I considered it, but my instinct told me to stay around.

And I did, more than I tought, getting as much information as I could, until I found… STEEMIT.
Boom.
The PERFECT deal.

I’m really into creating content. I just started last year, I have SO MUCH more to practice and learn, but that’s my shit.

And there I find the perfect place where I can upload content, share it, have an opportunity to generate more money than YouTube might ever give me, all that keeping me in on the cryptocurrency train. What else ?

II – Who am I ?

French guy, living in Paris, 24 years old.

Now, as I said, I tried the content creation on YouTube in an amateur way, and even though it’s not the simplest thing I feel this is what I want to do with my life at the moment.

I don’t feel very confident doing so, I don’t know why it’s always a big deal emotionally for me to create and upload content I made on the Internet, but I never regret it and always feel appealed to do so again.

Yet this has been quite a while, and I feel rusted, but I thought

« Hey. Just do something. Stop waiting for the perfect moment, with the perfect environment, in the perfect place, to share the perfect content in a perfect platform. ».

And I was like « Hell yeah fuck the system even if I upload shit I will upload everyday of 2018 from the 1st of january until I become good at this ».

But the 1st of january I didn’t even create my Steemit account, so let’s not even mention the famous first post ».

But I stayed faithful to the idea and… Here i am.

III – What will I do on Steemit ?

This feels so wrong and so right at the same time. Let’s say it as it is : Steemit will be my thought trash.

I decided to write exactly what I feel like writing when I do. And say exactly the things that I feel like saying, or not, with the exact amount of editing that I want. And now that we are the 15th of January… Do that when I want to.

2 rules though (for now… talk about rules) :

• Text and video for every post I make
• Actually try to make as much posts as I can, with a daily goal

This could be the best or the worse idea ever, but I feel like going with total freedom on a freedom of content based platform in a freedom based currency world.

So there we are, you and I, having no idea of the potential chaos that this channel could be.

Let’s say I still have a starting point though : my account is named « anotherlife » (Oh yeah sure go ahead, you can follow me) for a reason : this life I made huge changes in my life. In a lot of sectors. So I’ll probably start by talking about it.

Or not. Let’s see.

PS : Imperfect update : (PROBABLY) posted on 16th of January as I just realised how shitty is my upload internet speed in my new place. Good start for a soon to be active content creator !
