Big me, little me
A few weeks ago, my daughter was saying something about little me (actually when I say me in this post, it needs to be replaced by her name lol) but I didn't get right away what she was talking about. Until she pointed to her shadow on the wall. Then I understood her, finally haha. I saw by the way she was talking about it, that she didn't understand why the sun would sometimes give her a big "self" and other times a small "self", so I showed her that is has to do with where the light comes from. Now we have fun with our shadows everytime we notice them, and she gives it the name: little me or big me. Quite funny actually, that you can forget that something so normal to you, can be so much fun to a child.
The picture above was made on the Margaret Island after a boat trip we did a few days ago. We thought it would be fun to take the boat instead of the tram for once, and when I saw this huge shadow of our daughter with her dad, I had to capture it. Because that was a BIIIIIIIIIG me, she said :)
