Suicide Prevention Awareness Month is Important, But We Need to Talk About Suicide All Year Long

I have always noticed a stigma against mental health, bi polar - you were not sure what it was but it wasn't normal so stay away from that person. yet if they are on the correct medicines it is fully controllable. Dementia the loss of memory; too difficult to handle.

I think that the various mental health situations and how to cope should be taught at a school level. Usually most people have a loved one that develops mental illness. If more instruction on how to care for an ill person was made available we would see more understanding in the community.
