Cryptocurrency is Modern Day Agorism

I don’t like to put myself in a box but this one feels like home.

Nothing about peacefully coexisting and creating consentual agreements with others can be wrong. Period. The use of crytocurrencies is inevitable amongst intellectuals who are more often than not drawn to computer technology. I hate sounding pretentious as if I know better than anyone else, but I find it incredibly hard to find negativity in the grand scheme of crytocurrency. The decentralized aspect screams fairness and allows people on every level to achieve sustainablity. Beyond that, Steem has opened up a whole new realm with the “donation” based economy. The real inhibitor of human potential seems to be outdated and slow to progress political power.

Perhaps the only negative aspect of cryptocureency is how much money people are losing playing the crytomarkets in order to satisfy their cash driven lives. There is an aparent disconnect developed by these people who truly misunderstand the technology they are getting into. For me it is empowering to be in control of my money and seemingly my people’s future. I think we should all take the time to really think about and perhaps condemn such behaviors unless these people are reinvesting and improving the technology for the future.

But who are we to judge? I know, I have a hard time myself because I can truly see things from multiple perspectives and realize that not everyone has had the same experiences. However, I am also an extremely peaceful guy and I think that is reflected in all my life decisions, especially money. I wish the best for everyone and want to provide my family and friends with a future they can believe in rather than a looming anxiety as chess pieces shift around violent influence. I think it is safe to say that those without our best interests in the future are not on my side.

I yearn to be the catalyst in the world around me that sparks faith in others.

I think everyone needs to step back and realize how lucky we are to be alive at such a time in history. There are countless exciting innovations to get involved in to better humanity and society and I believe cryptocurrencys will be one of the best changes for humanity. The current fiat currency system is incredibly unfair and if cryptocurrencys can at the least make the world a fairer financial place then everyone should be getting behind it.

Ah dude... you suck. I totally had to look up agorism and then you defined it right from the start lol. You remind me of my first post I wrote about why there is no cryptocurrency bubble.

In the end I conclude that you should be putting money into a blockchain because you believe in it, not to make a quick buck. People need to stop being greedy. There's going to be plenty of money to go round. Greed and blockchain don't mix. This new system is transparent.

Exactly... I personally am involved in mining as well as holding because I intend on supporting the network. I imagine myself as a leader of the new world. May be a bit of a stretch but it makes me feel good.

I'm with you, in theory. The problem is that some people have more power and control over the system itself and can negotiate or manipulate better outcomes for themselves. People are complex and no economic system works perfectly. Maybe crypto is getting us closer to that goal though!

I certainly agree. We can be animalistic in nature sometimes and that certainly can’t be disregarded. However, people will attempt to abuse every system.

The faith I have in the cryptocurrency community stems from the critical problem solving aspects being applied in positive ways to new technology. Making things safer, more fair, more secure, and more convient... as anyone would want.

It’s as if being in our purest animalistic state of competition has led us to develop rules that put us all at an advantage. Which is completely awesome and uplifting. The fact that we are even attempting to change money in so many different ways (altcoins) speaks volumes.

Well said!
