I've been wondering if making this post was unethical because of the possible relationships that can be hinged on this. But ... Why not argue and give my opinion on a subject as present and as important as abortion?
To begin with, I will give the definition of abortion according to the RAE: "Interruption of pregnancy by natural or provoked causes."
It is not prevention, it is the interruption, the destruction. It seems very obvious but many people make up their words to say "kill a baby before it is born" sounds nice, moral and convincing.
I'll start by telling a story that happened this year:
As you may already know, I am studying the fourth year of secondary education and, in biology class, we have been studying, from a scientific and objective point of view, the formation of a baby and the process for it.
Many people who advocate a positive attitude towards a woman's abortion are supported by the argument of "I do with my body what I want" to analyze this sentence:
As soon as both gametes meet and give rise to the zygote, this zygote will have a DNA different from that of the mother, because it will be a combination of both, a new genetic information.
As much as the baby is housed inside the mother's body, this cell objectively does not belong to her, so she should not have the possibility to destroy it.
When taking a position on this topic there are 2 cases:
- In favor of abortion. This person says to put in the skin of the mother.
- Against abortion. This person says put on the skin of the baby.
What I mean by this? It is true and obvious that the abortion of a baby involves the mother of this one, because the abortion takes place in its body but ... What exactly determines the abortion? The life of the mother or the life of the child? In the matter of LIFE, abortion only and exclusively determines the baby's end and this.
If you are now thinking that abortion determines the life of the mother, I have to say, that, in any case, determines the QUALITY OF LIFE (without thinking about other possible solutions, such as adoption).
So the LIFE of one individual is being placed before the QUALITY OF LIFE of another.
There are also people who say that abortion is also for the sake of the child, if the child could not grow properly for economic or personal reasons of the family ... Is it really the solution to end the life of this Person without leaving him the possibility to live it? This profile of people also say that they would not be able to give a child in adoption, however, contradicting their sensitivity, yes it is to abort and kill him.
Thanks for reading, a hug.
Non-violence has to be our way.
What does that mean?
We can try to offer alternatives that are free to mothers.
But you can't stick a gun in her face and force her to do anything..

Great post! I I had my rainbow baby end of 2015 after 7 miscarriages. There was a chance for abnormalities and we decided not to do any further tests. She is a healthy 18 month old. I am against abortion.

I am against abortion. Always have been, always will be.
It seems nowadays that people just don't want to be responsible for their actions! I am very sad that abortion is now 'normal'. If you posted this 50 years ago it would have been a VERY shocking thing to say indeed! The fact now that you can be offered an abortion if your child is has something like Down's Syndrome, is just disgusting!!! I wish people would wake up and get angry about this! There is rarely a genuine medical need for this.

It is not a matter of morality but a matter of rights i mean that the decision of having or not an abortion should be personal not dictated by the laws. Around the glove about 90% of sexual violence happen to women and about 70% of that 90% are not even 18 years old. Sure they should be able to have abortions without asking for permission just as people who rape do not ask for permission.
