Are These Success Bands Really Stealing Your Money?

in life •  3 years ago

In the world of self-development you will find that there are many success bands, and it is not rare to see a "so called" success guru being interviewed on the radio. These radio shows are becoming quite famous as many are discovering that they can make a lot of money through their books, CDs and DVDs, by promoting others products, or even through sponsorship. But there is another side to all this, and that is that some are actually very good at what they do. They have discovered a successful method of how to make money fast, and they are sharing it with the rest of us.

This is not to say that they are not benefiting financially from their sales. They are but if you look closely at what it is they are doing, and more importantly what they are not doing, you will see that there is usually only one goal for these so called success experts. They are simply in it for the money. That is not to say they don't genuinely want to help people, or even teach us something valuable about our lives, but the bottom line is that their main objective is to make a profit. And while they might be a good teacher, in the end they are in it for the money.

So how do you know when these so called success gurus are really teaching you something worthy? Well, usually they will have a website which has some interesting information, they may have some audio files you can listen to, or even video tutorials. All of this gives you more options, and with more options comes more chances to find out if a system is genuine. You will find that some of the systems being sold on the internet are simply a compilation of old information, with little new teaching material added. The real systems are put together by someone who has followed through on what they have preached and learned through experience.

One example of this would be The Secret, which started as a very small book. However, author Lisa Nichols has gone on to share her experiences and how she has used the methods she learnt, and applied them to her own life. Therefore, you can see that even though the system may be a bit old, or simply not be as effective as some other things, it does stand out as something very solid.

There are many bands that will share information and methods, however, most of these bands are really just promoting one another's products. When you have a program such as the Secret, or other programs, you have to take a look at the quality of the information, and the effectiveness of the teaching method. There is always the possibility that some less qualified people might have provided the material, but this is rare with bands like this.

In conclusion, to answer the original question, yes, these bands are really up to something. However, they're not just promoting the fads of the moment, but are also sharing information and instructing others. Some are much better than others, so you should be selective and look at the material. Then, decide whether it's worth buying their material or not.
