Aceh, a province of Indonesia that located at very west of sumatra island is an area blessed with many extraordinary places, such as beautiful mountains, tropical weather, beautiful sea even historical sites. so no wonder if aceh including one of the favorite tourist destinations in Indonesia (besides Bali of course) lol..!

Ok guys, i think enough the chit-chat, now I am going to show you some unique things that you will find if you visit aceh
1. Labi-labi
Labi-labi is a common vehicle that is often used in aceh. actually this car is a kind of pickup than get modified so useful to carry passengers, unique right ?.
labi-labi is one of the most popular types of transportation coz you get cheaper cost, imagine !! for a distance of 10 km, you just pay about IDR 10.000 !!!! Woww
2. Wilayatul hisbah
Wilayatul Hisbah is a supervisory for the implementation of Sharia in Aceh called as Sharia Police. Aceh is the only region in Indonesia that runs Islamic Shari'a (as in the Middle East), this is based on Aceh's 99% Muslim population.
wilayatul hisbah served to punish the achenese who violate Islamic law such as stealing, gambling, zina etc
3. Most Women Heroes In Indonesia Or Maybe The World??
Did you know that some women fighters in Aceh are in the 7 Warlord Women in the World? Two of the world's seven female warlords recorded the names of Admiral Keumalahayati and Commander Cut Nyak Dhien. Both of them are no stranger to their country's history enthusiast.
In fact, the two female generals are included in the ranks of 10 Best Female Warriors at All Time and Women Warrior in South East Asia. In the literature of Aceh and National history recorded at least, there are 11 women in Aceh who are recorded in the historical track as a heroine in this country.
Starting from the era of the Sultanate of Samudra Pasai, the sultanate of Aceh Darussalam to the Dutch colonial era. Here are the names of these brave women heroes; Ratu Nahrisyah, Sri Ratu Tajul Alam Safiatuddin Shah, Sri Sultan Nurul-Alam Naqiatuddin Shah, Sultanah Inayat Zakiatuddin Shah, Ratu Kamalat Zainatuddin Shah
, Admiral Malahayati or "Keumalahayati", Cut Nyak Dhien, Cut Meutia, Pocut Baren, Pocut Meurah Intan, and lastly a great female cleric named Teungku Fakinah.
4. Coffee
besides mosques, maybe the most frequent buildings you encounter in aceh is coffee shops. yupz, Aceh famous by tradition of drinking coffee. aceh coffee is also well known, such as Gayo coffee that has go international.
besides delicious flavor, Aceh coffee is also served in a unique way, filtered so that the coffee does not gore any dregs
do not forget to taste coffee if you visit aceh !!! or you will regret it for life. seriously
