Also Joel emphasizes in this message that we should be inspired and motivated that people ahead has laid some foundation for me to benefit. They actually sacrificed or suffered more, I actually got it easy in comparison and I should be thankful, reaping the benefits I did not sow.
In summary, it gives us no reason to quit or be in despair. It inspires us to move and keep moving on. God will reward us in this life and in the life to come for the tasks He already accomplished for us.
