For those of us that are self-conscious and self-conscious is not a good thing, there is nothing wrong with being self-conscious, but we tend to act in accordance with our self-image, not in accordance with the reality. When you act in accordance with your image, your actions usually reflect your true character and personality.
Behaviour is usually determined by a combination of what the person is feeling at the time and what they are thinking. The best way to determine if you are acting appropriately or inappropriately, is to ask yourself these questions and do some reflection before you go any further.
To make matters worse, our behaviour is largely determined by our reaction to what we see as being our own flaws and shortcomings. So it's not surprising that we end up behaving in an inappropriate manner as a result of this response to what we perceive as a problem in our lives.
If we want to improve our behaviour is one of the first things that we need to do. This is where self-awareness can help. Once we know what we want to do in life, we have an idea of the actions that are required to achieve our goal. Once we know what we want to do, we can then look for opportunities to get out of our own way and move forward.
Once we are aware of what we want and the behaviours we need to create that life we want we can then start to work on building a self-image. By working on building our self-image, we will be more likely to achieve our goals and objectives. Self-image and self-respect are important and must be maintained at all times as this will determine how effective the person is in achieving their goals.
Our behaviour should always reflect who we are. This can be difficult to do at first, but is important and it is also important to look out for our self-image and self-respect, when we make decisions and changes to our behaviour.
An important area of self-awareness is our reactions to criticism. A good self-reflection will enable us to be more supportive of others. when they are criticizing our actions. This will make us feel more confident and we may even change our behaviour in a positive way.
Another factor is to avoid reacting negatively to criticism. because this can reflect poorly on us. by not responding positively we are not taking full responsibility for our actions, which may result in us behaving in an inappropriate manner.
Another point to remember is that it is important not to let ourselves go when we are criticized. if you are always feeling down and out then it is likely you will find yourself behaving in an inappropriate way, whether it is complaining or blaming other people or yourself for your situation.
It is also important to note that our self-image is more important than anyone else. and it is important to take care of it and make sure that it remains a strong image.
When we recognise the things that are causing problems for our self-image, we can begin to change our behaviour. by thinking and talking about the things that are worrying us. We should think positively and be grateful to others, and also try to look forward to new opportunities instead of looking for excuses or solutions.
It is important that we look at the things that are making us unhappy and find ways to make them better, as these can give us a better view of ourselves. If we don't take good care of our self-image, it could result in us going backwards and developing low self-esteem and low self-confidence. If this happens we will be unable to cope in a positive way, and our self-image will start to slip away.
It is important that we recognise how we can get better and be thankful for our strengths, rather than being negative about the things that are causing us problems. when we're feeling low about our self-image, it's important to focus on the positives and positive thoughts. If you are feeling low then it is likely you will want to find ways to put things right, so that your self-image can be strengthened. and you can start to feel confident again.
