This is a question which has been kind of Haunting me for some Time.

I would not be the first person to compare Love with a form of Drugs. We have seen many cases in the past where people have said that particular Line.

The concept of a new Love is often seen as getting high on Drugs, we are Happy all the Time. It's quite similar to what a Drug does to you. But the sad part comes when due to some reason your Relationship breaks and the person who was seriously involved in the Relationship gets the symptoms what we may call the Withdrawal Symptoms.

He/She just cannot live without your other half quite Similar to what a Drug does to you after you try to quit it.

So yes I will say that Love is a Drug which could either make you or Break you.

Dont get me wrong I am not saying its wrong to be in Love. It's just that I think Love is a Double-Edged Sword. So you should Tread Carefully on it.

It isn't real when you can explain love, for it is a strange feeling unexplained.A countless words you cant express ,And it always exist in no time and space.

It's a vital desire in its basic form, needed for procreation. Humans and a few other high inteligent creatures turned it into a form of pleasure. For us, it's now not that different from food, drink, or smoking.

I agree with you! Although, with that perspective I think pretty much everything in this world is addictive.

Humans are always striving to feel happy and satisfied. This results in that we always do the things that make us feel that way regardless if it is over-consuming love, food or music. Do you have any ideas of how not to over-consume love? Do you think it's possible? :)

Yes, it is true anything that is good or feels good is often Addictive to us. All we can do is keep that addiction to a Minimum.

Agree!

love is addiction....

I kind of agree with you on that @rihaan

Love can indeed be in a theoretical sense be considered a drug. Just like drugs once you're hook, it's hard to let go. Just like drugs once your obsessed it can destroy yours, or other people's lives. So yes, love is a drug. Thanks for the wonderful article. Have a nice day.

I read somewhere that Love releases a Hormone in our system and once there is no Love we crave for that Hormone.

No, love is not a drug. It's more like an illusion that can make us happy or sad ^^

Ok, that is a new Opinion I like that will follow up on that Theory of Yours.

not love is a drug, because love can come and go easly,i think the person you're in love become like a drug for you after a while and you can't live without that person anymore.

Yes, you do have a point that Love can come and go easily but if someone gets invested on that Love than that becomes an addiction when he/she leaves.

yes,it is right.

kind of reminds me of that 70's song...love is strange :)

Sorry, @practicaleric I was not born at that Time.

yeah :)
