Decaying Souls

We all know that everything decays with time, everything tends to fall if we set em free. Exactly this way, if we set our souls free to room in this cruel world, they will decay towards evil. Prophet Muhammad(Peace be upon him and his family) warned us that the line between good and bad will be erased in the last times(End of this world). This is happening now, the evil has spread everywhere, there is no morality left. In fact, bad has become good and good has now become bad.

"They deceive ALLAH and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realize (it) not." (The Noble Quran, 2:9)

Hidden Evil(Hypocrisy)

Problem Identification

Starting with a simple example, we take many selfies and pictures, why do we choose the best one to share on social media? Why do we edit pictures? That's just because we want to look better than what we actually are. Let's take another example, why do we choose the most precious and expensive dresses while going to a gathering? Why do we use cosmetics? Why do we care about fashion? The answers to all these questions is, that we wanna look pretty from outside, we wanna show our wealth and wanna maintain our social status.

Inside our own selves, there may be a dead or a partially alive conscience which was to protect us from negativity. Continuous ignorance and lack of self accountability damages conscience and the wall of protection against evil weakens. Now, with that weak conscience how can one differentiate between good and bad? one must go back to the unalterable absolute guide to redefine the concepts of good and bad.

"And that He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of God. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of God is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination." (The Noble Quran, 48:6)

What's the resistance to the change?

Solution

The person who wants the change must look for the purpose behind every little thing/action. For example, if clothes are for covering the body and to provide shield from severe weather, then everything other than the purpose must be worthless(of zero importance).
One must be capable of absorbing the social pressure and must not change the position just for the joy of the foolish. There must be hope and self-motivation to stay focused and to acquire consistency. The hope may come from the concept of the day of judgement which is an absolute source of soul motivation.
