Your eye doctor can also use an autorefractor or an aberrometer to automatically determine your prescription.
With both devices, rest your chin's stable head as you normally see specify another image or light.
An autorefractor, such as manual refraction, determines the lens strength required to accurately focus the light on your retina. Autorefractors are particularly useful in certain cases such as evaluating young people who may not sit still, paying attention or interacting with an ophthalmologist adequately for refracting accurate clues.
Research has shown that modern autorefractors are very accurate. They also save time. Autorefraction only takes a few seconds, and the results obtained from automated tests greatly reduce the time required for your ophthalmologist to perform manual refraction and determine your prescription glasses.
An aberrometer uses advanced wavefront technology to detect errors and even blur the vision based on illuminating the way of travel through your eyes. Aberrometers are mainly used for custom or wavefront LASIK correction vision procedures, but many ophthalmologists now incorporate this advanced technology in their regular eye examinations as well.
