Every one of us, at some point in our lives, has done some mistakes; bigger or smaller. Be it like buying clothes that does not suit us at all or cutting off our hair very short and regretting it later on or an excellent football player missing the penalty kicks. Mistakes happen and basically they are unintentional. Making mistakes are not in our hands. If it was then we would never make mistakes. We make both smaller and bigger mistakes; smaller mistakes that we make can be taken care of easily but sometimes we tend to make bigger mistakes which are little more serious and complicated. This does not mean that we should regret or pay for our mistakes for the rest of our lives! Instead we should accept it and move forward.
Mistakes are usually caused by our negligence, poor reasoning and inadequate knowledge. It is very essential to remember that mistakes should never be repeated. Rather, lessons should be learnt from them, after all they help us visualize our faults, confusions and potential. Moreover, they make us aware about repeating the similar mistakes in the future.
Adam Osborne once said, “The most valuable thing you can make is a mistake, you cannot learn anything from being perfect.”
Mistakes teach us a lot of things. We learn lessons from them, it helps to overcome our fears and makes us a stronger person, it teaches us to forgive others and most importantly it is a way to success.
Mistakes are made by everyone but there are very few of us who actually admit our mistakes. If we do not admit them, we are never going to learn from them. As a result, we keep on repeating mistakes over and over again. It is important to accept, learn and move ahead in our lives.
Mistakes should never be viewed as something that is negative or hurtful. Instead, should be viewed as opportunities that help us to reassess our path to a successful life. They are the stepping stone to success.
