Doors, portals that take you to infinite universes. That's what books are to me.
This is a kiosk, which is located near my house. New and used books. Science fiction, novels, self-help, politics, academic books, poetry, betsellers, encyclopedias, there's everything. The gentleman who attends him says that what he did not study in school he has now learned here.
And I don't doubt it, because as I once read: There is no better university than a good collection of books.
That morning I could not buy any books, but I took with me pleasant anecdotes of those who spend long hours of the day surrounded by portals to other dimension, that is, surrounded by good books.
Every afternoon, you can see the man from the newsstand always ready to share a pleasant conversation full of popular wisdom while he shows you the titles he has available.
