Hey guys this the first time I will be writing a short story , I am really bad at writing fiction so cut me some slack while reading , apologies already if you felt you wasted your time already

Jacob seemed really excited today , well with all reasons . The college reunion he was planning since months is finally coming to an execution . All the good old memories will be revived , The one liners insults from Paramjeet , The love for food from Mark , the awwing romance of Edward-Natasha all coming to a reality soon, The witty jokes from Shahwaz the soothing music from Mitchell and mindless musings from Rajesh , will gonna be all together in a few hours from now .
It was probably the first time in the five years of his marriage with Clara that he woke up and did all the dishes by himself.
Well all that can be justified , this was the coolest group back in those days , almost like a favorite teenager TV show , the weekly parties , the daily hangouts with Joints in hands and Lennon playing in the background . All seemed to be picture perfect.
Its not that they haven't been in touch after college , their was a Whatsapp group which kept all of them with shit loads of giggles and laughs everyday each been reminding of the great memories.
Jacob went on to make sure everything is in place for his dream coming alive .
Hours after everyone starts arriving in .
After exchanging few pleasantries they all sat together to watch that album , everyone would love to see. The photos were neatly framed and stuck with greatest lines with some of the context only they couldve understood.
But there is when things starts looking different .
Paramjeet turned into a serious person after having kids and refrain from insulting anyone with the fear his kids might learn that too. With his dominating wife staring at him , he couldn't even try to utter a single thing which older Paramjeet would've.
Mark developed some unpleasant health patterns due to which he only stuck to Salad and Water. Not a single ounce of food all ordered specially for him was looked by him , something which Mark from the college would eat at all.
Edward-Natasha seemed to be having serious relationship issues, as with growing time , they grown bored of each other. Their actions and reactions showed as much as the hate towards each other as much as the love the college lovebirds used to have.
Shahwaz hit a major financial crises and living with that was never easy to make him jolly like before.
Mitchell after being a single mother of a autistic child , had no time to practice music , she had to have it all by himself. Though she tried picking up the guitar, but not a single node was something the 3 time college- music champion would approve off.
Rajesh meanwhile got so busy with all his work that he had no time to think of those mindless musings.
No one held joint this time as all had to get back to their regular lives sober the very next morning and the Lennon in background now sounding jarring to ears.
Jacob sat there having a thought in his mind that
Some plans are too good to be executed , some memories are too good to be relived
He held Clara's hand and with the plans of accepting the harsh reality and moving ahead in life
Hey!! This a moving story about growing up! The realities of how life changes in ways we don't expect. It's a bit sad, but life can be sometimes.
You asked for honest feedback so the one thing I would recommend to make these stories even better (I loved it and think you should write more), is using something like Grammarly or Google docs or find a nice friend with time to help you edit for English grammar. It's quite easy to understand. I just noticed there are places with words in the wrong order or better words that could have been used.
Also, you should be happy and proud of this! No need to apologise at the beginning or think that someone would feel they've wasted their time reading this. It's a lovely story!
