Don't Trade Your Sleep

Yeah, seriously. While some people will claim you only need 5h or so of sleep, you really need regular meals, exercise, good sleep hygiene, and ~8h of sleep to have a proper healthy life and achieve peak performance.

Poor sleeping will lead to being tired all the time, not getting enough exercise, poor judgements, not eating properly, and lowers your immune system and mental health as well as your physical health. Which will severely shorten your lifespan.

If you are having problems getting into a good "sleep pattern", start out by scheduling it, removing all electronics ~1h before "scheduled sleeping", and maybe even having a "help" to get to sleep. For me, personally, melatonin and ~200mg of 5-HTP with some bread during that last hour before sleep helps me get better restful sleep and feel better in the morning when my sleep cycle is disrupted.

Another thing you should do is invest in some good thick curtains or blackout blinds in your bedroom. I once spent a couple of months not really understanding why my sleep was so poor, turns out it was because sufficient ambient light was getting into my bedroom to trick my brain into thinking it was light out, which completely screws up your circadian rhythms.

What a reply, thanks for sparing time to read this buddy, I am highly obliged.

Removing electronics 1H before sleeping and blackout curtains, I too believe in this and following this. I cannot sleep if there is light in the room and wake up early if I see light in the room in the morning.
