Or the Greeks having steam power before the sacking of Alexandria. And of course the Antikythera mechanism. Honest that statement scares me in to wondering how many others are so complacent.
You are actually proving my point. Those system became obsolete and humanity moved on to newer and better technologies. When one way fails humanity will find another.
