PROCRASTINATION CAN BE EITHER GOOD OR BAD FOR YOU.

Procrastination can be either good or bad for you, here’s why.

The problem many people face these days is that they don't differentiate between a good time to procrastinate and a bad time.
For example, you see your favourite big bowl of iced cream in the store and you are hungry and tired and desperate for a sugar fix.
That's a good example for procrastination.
But most of the time procrastination works against us.
For example, you have committed to do 30 minutes of exercise every morning before you start your day otherwise you know from experience you will be too busy or tried to do it.
But you wake up. You’re tired and just want to turn over and go back to sleep.
This is not a good time to procrastinate, this is a time to just act!
Here is a quote from Mel Robbins author of the 'The 5 Second Rule' talking about her solution to procrastination which completely transformed her life after she used it to stop turning over and going back to sleep every morning.
“If you don’t start doing the things you don’t feel like doing, you will wake up one year from today and be in exactly the same place”.

If you have an impulse to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds or your brain will kill the idea.

So if you have a goal of gaining more respect in the workplace, you have to raise your hand the next time you’re in a meeting and you have a great idea.

If you have a goal of losing weight, you can take action right now by researching healthy meal options and setting daily reminders on your phone that will prompt you to go to the gym.

CHALLENGE YOURSELF WITH THE 5 SECOND RULE
Why don't you give it a go this week, just take physical action within 5 seconds on your goals regardless of whether you feel like it and let the momentum carry you forward.
