Hello and welcome to steemit. I see that newbieresteemday and greetersguild have made their presence know. They are both very good groups focused on helping new users get a leg up on steemit. I would like to introduce you to a few others things that may be helpful to you.
Steemworld.org is a companion program/app to steemit, it presents the hidden difficult to understand parts of steemit in a very user friendly way. It will allow you to easily see your voting power, and how long until your vote power is leveled back up. https://steemworld.org/@pearllingz, this would be your page. Along with an easy vote power tool, it also has a tool for letting you know when someone "mentions" you in a post or "tags" you in a post. There are several other tools and segments on the page, but they are all very easy to figure out. If you ever have a question about it, @steemchiller, the creator is pretty good at responding to people, and I have used it a lot and am pretty familiar with its operation, so if you don't want to bother the creator, you can always bother me, I honestly do not mind.
Okay the next tool is @dustsweeper. As a new user it is likely that when you start to post and or make comments on other peoples post, that you will get a lot of votes that fall below the dust vote level. What does dust vote mean? That is the price level of a vote that gets discarded and does not pay out to the recipient nor pay a curation reward to the giver. Currently it is set at about $0.020. So if you get a vote on anything that is less that two cents, that vote just disappears like it never happened. If you give a vote that the payout stays below two cents then you will get no curation reward. (So as a new user you should be careful on what you give a vote to if you want to grow your account every vote needs to count). Try to vote on content, more than comments, and that content should have a payout that is at least two cents. Now what can you do about it to where you get a reward for the votes you receive?
@dustsweeper is a dust vote leveler. It does cost to join, and to continue to receive it's benefit. you can start with as little as $0.500, or slightly less, and then do like I did, build a balance up slowly. Now what does it do? Any time you receive a vote that is less than the dust level and is going to disappear, on day 5 or day 6 dustsweeper will come along and give it a vote to raise it above the disappearing vote level. So you will get a reward for that vote, and the giver will receive their curation reward for giving you that vote. 1 SPB, will raise 72 dust level votes up to where they payout for you.
I realize looking in your wallet that you do not have many rewards as of yet, if this is something that may interest you, I do have a little bit of SBD saved up, and would be willing to send you 1 for you to sign up. (a sort of free trial offer) Let me know and if you are interested, i will send it to you and then you just send it to @dustsweeper through the wallet to start benefiting from the program.
