Besides Trump's blustery demeanor, the big story of late has been the leaks that have plagued the White House in recent months. The rumor is that bureaucrats have been leaking classified information to journalists, albeit with little or no prosecution, on an as needed basis. While this has been an open secret for some time, a recent New York Times report says that such leaks are on the rise and have reached a tipping point. In addition to a gaggle of reporters, the leaks have also attracted the attention of prominent Republicans.
One such group, the conservative media commentators, are calling for an FBI investigation into the leaks. It isn't all bad news though, according to the NYT, the administration's top brass has been more responsive to the public's questions and concerns than its predecessors.
The best part about it all is that the leaks are now being looked into more closely and with greater depth. Aside from the leaks, the newsrooms are now focusing more on the true-to-life claims of their respective stars and zeros.
