When we heard about the word ‘bitcoin,’ the first name we can associate with it is Satoshi Nakamoto. He is the inventor of the said cryptocurrency and was the first to implement the Blockchain technology.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT SATOSHI
Nakamoto was a 37-year old Japanese, and according to the P2P Foundation profile, he was born on April 5, 1975.
Some linguist experts doubt that he was a Japanese because he can speak fluent English and his bitcoin software is not written in the said language. He also uses British English spellings and terms in some of his source code comments and other posts in the forums which lead to speculations that he was from one of the British states or someone is trying to imitate his identity.
There were speculations that he spent his life mostly for the study of cryptography and computer science industries. There is no exact address on where he lived. Some say he lived in the United States, but others said he resides in Europe.
He is also considered as the 44th wealthiest man in the world due to the public Bitcoin transaction he owned which is worth over 19 billion USD.
SATOSHI AND BITCOIN
It was in October 2008 when Nakamoto published a paper talking about cryptography. It was titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.”
He described the facts about the digital bitcoin currency through a “cypherpunk” mailing list at metzdowd.com.He then released the first Bitcoin software in January 2009.
That was the actual launch of the first unit of cryptocurrency, which we now call Bitcoin. By January 9 of the same year, he released its Version 0.1 on Sourceforge.
Nakamoto continued to collaborate with other bitcoin software developers by establishing a website with a domain name bitcoin.org. He did this until mid-2010, and eventually, he transferred the domain to other members of the bitcoin organizations.
He also assigned Gavin Andresen, one of the bitcoin software developers, to gain control over the source code repository and network alert key.
CONCLUSION
Even before his name came out in public, many people sensed his purpose of hiding his identity, Satoshi chose to remain mysterious. He might have done it to avoid legal consequences since he was the man behind the success of digital currencies.
On the other hand, he had a useful purpose in creating the bitcoin. He wants two individuals to be able to transact directly with each other using cryptographic proof without the need for a third-party intermediary system.
i think SATOSHI NAKAMOTO is group of people not a person
