I bought the following from The Organic Catalogue website.
- Aubergine Rosa Bianca
- Lettuce Little Gem Saver Pack
- Herb - Corander Cilantro
- Courgette Golden Zucchini
- Wool Compost For Seeds (12 Litre)
We got the cell seed trays from the local garden centre.
We filled the cells with the wool compost and pushed it down so it was compact.
We sprinkled the seeds on top. You can put a few seeds in each cell, it doesn't have to be one seed per cell. The courgette seeds were much bigger than the other seeds so we did one seed per cell for them.
The coriander seeds were round so I decided one per cell.
The aubergine seeds were quite small so I did a few per cell.
The lettuce seeds were tiny so I did 4 or less per cell.
We added labels. I didn't get a photo of the aubergine label.
We then covered the seeds with a layer of compost.
We watered them.
We took them inside and...
...put the lids on.
That's it!
We've never done this before so we have no idea how it'll turn out.
