Battling The Stereotypes: Nigerians are NOT fraudsters

in life •  5 years ago

No one picks where they want to be born nor the family to be born into; we just come into the world and play the hand that life deals us. I don't know why stereotypes exist and I think their only purpose is for making jokes; in reality, it actually doesn't make any sense.

Living within Nigeria, you get to experience a large set of generalization from your own countrymen; there's the ethnic generalization, religious generalization because of your part of the country, educational generalization and a bunch of others that I can't even wrap my head around.

There are many things I am and many things I'm not but one thing I will never apologise for is things about myself that I can't change. This is not because I feel ashamed of who I am but because I am proud of who I am.

The battle I fight is not one with guns and roses, it is a mental battle for survival that keeps keeping me down, a battle that drains me mentally and threatens to drag me to the bottom.

The FBI released a list of fraudsters that actually was 80 Nigerians and as I type this now, I am scared, not scared for the assholes that were arrested because i hope they face their just punishment but for those like me who just want to make an honest living but have to contend with the scourge that comes with this Green international passport.

It is not new information that things in Nigeria are fucked up right now; I had a conversation with my friend @penderis about this issue and his feelings mirrored mine. We just want to get out of the rut that our society created and make something better for ourselves. The actions of these shortsighted individuals have put the entire entity called Nigeria in jeopardy.

Nigerians are NOT Fraudsters

No we are not, we are a country with over 100 milllion hardworking individuals that are trying to get ahead in life, just like it is in every other society. We don't have the basic amenities and we have a lot of unqualified cunts in leadership positions but all politicians are cunts so it is only normal. We thrive in hardship and find a way to make the best out of every situation. This is the spirit of a Nigerian, we are not fraudsters

I am sorry but I am Not Sorry

Like I said earlier, no one picks where or to whom to be born, we only play the hand life deals us. Thus, I say that I am sorry that I am a Nigerian like those cunts that sully our name but I am not sorry that I am a Nigerian. In a different life, I will still pick Nigeria as my country.

Here's a comprehensive list of the suspects indicted by the FBI. Not one of them is @belemo, @holybranches, @ejimai, @pangoli @menoski @bait @dongentle @ifeoluwa @samminator @samirich or any other Nigerian on the platform

Stereotypes are great :) according to them I have all the privelege and can get anything I want. It is when people are thick as fuck and can't use their own judgement, but yes it is exponentially harder I imagine when you are not even being judged as a person but merely an entity from somewhere. I do not think there is a reason for countries anymore but then again I would still say as much as we try to leave Africa the world does need to protect themselves from Africa although I think once fully exposed to the world as a whole the tribal backward hateful thinking I tend to refer to seems to lose the battle. Unless like Jordan Peterson pointed out in a vid the IQ level is too low. Those people do not learn and apart from the army not employing the m they are the ones that fuel the leaders of doom. But to even get to any point one must be seen as an individual. My benefit is that I am white mmm maybe not the right colour in my country but probably the right colour for them to harvest my organs in Malaysia maybe. !tipuvote 2

"Country" is an elaborate mental construct required to classify people. It is in the same boat with religion and other pointless things that humans need to justify their worthless existence. People don't want to think for themselves, so they simply key into stereotypes before making their decisions. Stereotypes helps them make "statistical" assumptions and punish the majority.
That's why PayPal doesn't work in Nigeria, Western Union can't be sent to Nigeria in some places and a bunch of issues.
And about selling kidney in Malaysia, I have one useless kidney I won't mind trading, do they pay in Bitcoin?
