Tradition is a way of life or a certain procedure of legacy that guides the path of life.

Though we of this generation has moved kind of far away from tradition because of the belief civilization has created in us.
And some people believes tradition lessons is always learnt in hard ways or when they see some people going through a practice of tradition, and imagining they are in that shoe how they would feel. Hence they flee away from home.

Tradition was meant to build life. It was meant to draw pattern. It was meant to promote how our lineage survived through life despite difficulties.

Recent survey that was carried out by one of my friends during his project points out that some families are going through difficult time in their ways of life because they flee from tradition which should have helped their cases and yet they ain't ready to admit that tradition at times has its own way of solving problems.

This story elaborates elaborate my point on tradition.
Their is a particular area in my village that when they give birth to new born baby, they bath them in an ancient drum. The water in the drum has never gone dry.
There happened to be a couple that their educational journey was outside the country, and when they gave birth, they believed everything about the bathing stuff was superstition. So they ignored calls even when they were been warned.
4 years after their birth, during summer, their child is always cold, no matter how hot the weather is.
He was taken to the hospital several times but they couldn't cure the child even after different treatments.

The husband's mom later asked them to come home, and they came. Then they agreed that they bath their child in the ancient drum.
The needful was done and the child received his healing for real.
Ever since then, this couple always preaches the importance of tradition even on their social blogs.

Conclusion

Tradition should be promoted because it is simply a way of life.
Tradition wasn't built to hurt anyone.
