Are friendships meaningful? Or are they only meaningful when it lasts?
Like other relationships, friendships are sustained when friends see each other every day and banter daily. But what happens after that last goodbye?
Friendships forged during childhood may well be forgotten during adulthood.
How much sentimental value can there be when one has forgotten most parts of the friendship?
Do we genuinely feel that friendships are meaningful or do we feel that way because of nostalgia?
My grandmother once said to me "You don't need to care about your friends so much."
Indeed, we care so much about what our friends say or do today.
We forgot that they may not be THAT important to us as time passes by.
"A friend in need is a friend indeed" rings true.
It is the truth of society and reality of life.
The reason we think friends are important is because we need them for a certain purpose at that point of time.
