Definition of the power of thinking

Thinking is one of the mental abilities that many people possess in varying degrees. Studies have shown that humans use only about 10% of their mental capacity. Therefore, the individual must be trained to use the thinking of his brain in all areas of life. The brain is also muscle. Exercise regularly, as it can increase the power of thinking by investing some time to train the brain on logical thinking. [1]

Ways to increase the power of thinking

Try new things

The best way to increase mental activity is to experience new and strange things that have never been done before, and to change traditional intellectual patterns that do not help stimulate the brain to think. Examples of activities that can be tried, which help increase intelligence, are choosing a different way to go to work , A new dining experience, and a change in sports activity. [1]

Training memory

Memory training is one of the ways to improve intelligence, memory, and individual thinking. Memory can be trained by: Trying to save phone numbers, or other numbers such as credit card numbers, insurance, and driving licenses. [1]

Think deeply

Deep thinking helps to think creatively and increase intelligence. Deep thinking will help change an individual's thinking, change his sense of the world around him, and help increase thinking, searching for beliefs, and reasoning. [2]

Eat foods that enhance the power of thinking

Vitamin-rich foods stimulate the power of thinking . Examples of vitamins that are essential for the brain are vitamin B, which is B6 and B12, thiamin, niacin, and folate. Vitamin B12 helps maintain the fatty surface of nerve cells. Vitamins are in many foods, such as: cereals, lean meats, and dairy products. [3]

Exercises for healthy thinking

The practice of brain health exercises is one of the best ways to take care of the body. Many studies have shown that exercise stimulates brain action, contributes to the production of new cells, and contributes to increased thinking power, increased memory and learning. [4]

A good post, you're right the brain is another muscle that we have to exercise daily feeding it with knowledge and tests to it, because without our mind we are only zombies that walk following a routine

I know people who 'read' enormously, book for book, letter for letter, yet whom I would not describe as 'well-read.' True they possess a mass of 'knowledge,' but their brain is unable to organize and register the material they have taken in.

Hi @bestlife I completely agree with you and thanks for sharing great post! and as you pointed out thinking is one of the great ability because of thinking human being have created current world and still trying to change to better place! additionally for increase our thinking ability we must to read more books! the books have significant impact on thinking

As my Famous Libra counterpart Drake would say "the power of the mind is not a joke". You can literally change your life by changing your thinking and the habits you take par in everyday. You can get a whole different perspective upon life and just enjoying the smaller things. Deep introspective thinking can also help. There was a study done years ago, where a guy took a test and scored a "F". He then changed his diet to completely seafood to see if he would score higher or the same. After a month of just fish oriented foods he scored a "C" on that same test. The answer is actually pretty simple because of Omega-3 in it which is a key ingredient for your brain . Think of Fish as food for the brain, and by him changing his diet to completely fish based it wired his brain to think either more cognitively or pace himself the second time he took the test. But nevertheless this article is a good read.
