ONE OF THE WORST PART OF MY YEAR (2017)

Well the 10th of November was like any other day (boring) I had to spend my day in the house all alone and to mess it all up PHCN(nepa) decided that they will not give us power that day.

Let me just fast forward the issue;
I decided to go to a friend's place, stayed for awhile. Since nepa where yet to bring light we decided to go and charge our phones somewhere else. I needed to get home and get my charger, on getting home my mom like every other 9ja mother decided to send me on an errand (after much begging on my on my side, I decided to go quietly)

On getting back my mom sent another errand but this time at the kitchen, in order of get to the kitchen you got to pass a corridor since there was no light I had to walk in the dark, before I knew what was happening I stepped on something.

I didn't have to see what I had stepped on (I just knew what it was) I screamed my lungs out(my scream even made my area folks come out of their homes (at least those that where not sacred) my mom ran out of her room to see what was going on, mean while my dad was still sitted outside (was like asking himself why is this boy shouting now)

Now everybody where in front of me asking me what made me scream in such a way, I told them I stepped on a snake (without seeing the snake oh) my friend being the tough dude he is stepped into the house with my dad to search for the snake. While my mom was desperately searching and hoping not to see a snake bite (me too was praying oh)

The next thing I heard was that they found the snake and almost immediately my mom found the snake bite(right now my world was torn apart) as of his point I wasn't my self. People started giving their own idea of first aid (which included me drinking kerosene, which I did with out delay)

In my mind I was praying to God asking for forgiveness (thinking that there is a possibility I might die, so I got to make things right with my God)
My mom had already ran out of the house to look for someone who had the antidote, luckily for me one of my neighbor was coming back and saw my mom walking in a distressful way! She stopped her car and asked my mom what the problem was, which my mom told her and thank God she knew someone who had the antidote.

Meanwhile others where telling me to make sure not to throw up on the ground or I would die(superticious believes right?) But at this point I did not care, I immediately carried a pile putting it close to mouth. My mom came back to get me so we would go to the man's house(the man that owns the antidote) I was made to carry the pile and a little cloth tied around the upper layer of the snake bite. I finally took the antidote(finally saying thank God am gonna live).

On getting back I found the snake lifeless body lying on the ground (it had already swallowed a few rats)

While thanks to God, my mom and my neighbors I was okay!! Since my phone was still low and I was not dying anytime soon, i still went out with my friends to charge my phone (small remain my mom would have made me carry pile) thank God she did not succeed 😁😁

Well the next day i was treated like a baby 👶👶eating what ever I asked for(trust me as a true 9ja boy, I made use of the opportunity well) that was the best part of the issue!!
Am just greatful am still alive at least to steem about it! 😌😌
