I am not a fan of the Government taking over everything, but while they are at it they should also take over spring cleaning. They would be terrible at it, and some how money would go missing, but at least this might not happen. 
It seems to come in waves, that you get hoarder house after hoarder house, and there is no rhyme or reason to them. This one was crazy, because they have lived there for 50 years. Most of this stuff is just garbage, and I don't understand the reason for keeping it.
We were suppose to paint the walls in that room, but upon further inspection we decided it would be too much to empty out the room, and then put it back.
We did paint this wall, and one of my guys leaned up against it, and needed help to become unstuck from it....... I told him to throw the shirt away and I would get him a new one. My wife understands now why I am a drill sergeant about keeping my house clean.
Sometimes I wonder why we have people who accumulate so many unnecessary things. When I try to get rid of some accumulated things I start to remember excuses and there they stay. Apparently they did not paint the room or the wall where your son lay down hahaha

OMG, I think I have been in that house. LOL... It is a nightmare to walk in and see that disaster and then have to try to work in it. You spend more time cleaning then you do actually painting. I had a house with so much grease on a wall it had to be taken off with a heated scraper and a smokers room where it took some pretty amazing primer, stain blocker and many coats to make the black disappear.

I know. It is crazy how these stains can keep coming through. Like a knot in wood. Never ending seeping. Are you still allowed to use any Oil based paints there? They have been banned here for interior work. Makes it so fun when you are transitioning a house from oil to latex. There are some great products on the market to create good adhesion now but it is still so much extra work.
