This quote is shared by a friend and i extremely relate to this quote from my life exprience.if you take care of yourself then no one can take care of you . Some time you expect to be loved , cared and treated well but other person is not doing the same . Your values are meaningless to some one.
I think it's part of life, really. I think it is God's way of preventing us from making people idols.
Few things are more painful than the sense of betrayal felt from someone you thought would stand with you through it all.
The upside is that it teaches you to not trust in humans; and that, only God will be with you in everything without fail.
