This is a valuable asset that most developing countries like Ghana are in desperate need of.

Plastic bottles and rubbers, pappers, etc which can be really used to be produce other product and things and be very benefitial.

Would be very nice if this is a system was already devoloped or yet to be.

I think give us whatever but we won't keep our surroundings clean .. It the lack of education which is the cause of this problem. The government tried providing dustbin but then they get stolen and are sold in the grey market. So maybe education and employement needs to be pushed.

Yeah I agree with you. This is one of the major problem facing the world right now. In my country Ghana. This issue comes up as to how we can manage waste. I think we can develop or introduce a mechanism in how we can make this plastic in another form. I believe there are so many forms out dere but is it reducing plastic waste????. This would be one of the few effective ways to address the problem.
This world and a very good portion of the people in it are driven by greed, no not even greed, but need. To get people to put in hard work persistently one first needs something that would drive them on-wards.
Hope.
There would be many for which this could be life changing for them, a chance for redemption, or even just their first chance.

Plus, even I would be willing to spend time each day cleaning and improving my community if I was earning crypto doing so, let alone those in more difficult circumstances.

Most people drink bottled spring water which comes in plastic bottles and you see them everywhere..
People are not self driven to dispose off wastes in rightful places. This has also resulted to a number of diseases as result of poor hygiene.

Paying people to clean up rubbish is a brilliant idea! I lived in Thailand for years and have seen the rubbish problem escalating there. My first visit was in 1999 and the beaches were pristine. Fast forward to 2016 and no matter where you went it was rubbish and no one seems to care. Fast forward further to 2018 and I'm in Austin TX, where they won't give you a plastic bag in grocery stores, and yet I still see litter everywhere I go. Such a hypocritical attitude. There's a group here that wants to appear environmentally conscious, yet they can't accept the responsibility of being environmentally conscious. This is the same group that will allow their dogs to shit everywhere without cleaning it up. I understand that it's biodegradable, but you need to have a social conscious as well and consider your fellow human.

I wonder how well your solution would work in both places. Theoretically it should be a win-win. Thailand has a poor population that should be more than happy to get paid to clean the beaches and other tourist areas. Austin has a fairly large homeless population that should also be happy to get paid to pick up all the rubbish by the sides of the road and in public spaces. Someone should be happy to profit from the activity of others pretty much anywhere...that's entrepreneurship right?

Now how to get someone to run with this idea.

You came to Goa? I live here. Yes, the garbage is a problem in almost every state in India. Goa is no different. But largely the garbage is not high here.

Hey and good day... I'm couldn't be more agree with you... I've been living in Goa over one year now over 3 different time period... I have to say it's a sad story... Now I'm living in colva... And the garbage problems is still on... I have been asking the Indian people why they don't have but sett up garbage bin... You know what they answer me... Because they get stolen.. Anyway it have to be a better solution on this problem... Here in colva it a big problem to... I see big pipes of garbage evry day... Especially plastic... Thay just burn it...
