If the world had ended on the 23rd none of us would have been here to pay anybody anything. But the end of the world is not what this Post was about. At the end of this age, the world will continue for another 1000 years. But the reason so many people got it wrong about September 23 was that they misinterpreted Revelation 12, which never stated that the rapture would happen at the time of the great sign (alignment of stars). Not only that, there was a 2nd sign that has to happen after the first sign. But things are getting interesting in the prophetic sphere. What was Trump's Jerusalem announcement all about? For some, that's a big yawn. Who cares where the Americans put their Israeli embassy, or for that matter where the Israelis have their capital? But just ask a Palestinian if they think that's a big yawn. That type of thing can literally be an explosive issue for them (pardon the pun). So if you believe in this prophetic stuff it's big, but even if you don't, you can't deny that these end time beliefs are impacting the world in a big way.

Am I setting another date for the rapture? Nope, I just live day by day and hope it's sooner rather than later, but I still find it interesting to follow world events and see how they tie in with Bible prophecy. Another big one is the situation in Syria, where there is now an alliance between Russia, Turkey and Iran, exactly as prophesied in Ezekiel 38. Are we about to see the prophesied Gog Magog war? Whether prophesied or not, you can't deny that the players in that region are playing for big stakes. They found a huge oil field off the coast of Israel not so long ago, and the 3 nations mentioned above might just find it tempting to try to roll the Israelis and grab all that money. Can the Israelis fight them off? That all depends on whether God is or is not on their side. We shall see as time passes no doubt.
