The 40 Year Anniversary of the Equal Seating Act

Today commemorates the 40 year anniversary of the Equal Seating Act. 

This landmark legislation was designed to overturn the federal law that mandated American women sit on a male chaperone at all times. 

Even worse reclining disparities occurred in Communist China under Chairman Mao.

In today's corporate boardrooms, you can no longer assume that a man will be the chair.
