Macbook - Best investment I ever Made

in life •  7 years ago

Two weeks ago, I asked on Steemit if I should switch to MacOS. The overwhelming response was : YES.

Been editing videos on this thing for 2 weeks now, and i can tell you, this is really the best investment i've ever made.

Final Cut is easy to use and easy to piece different clips together. Editing my FinWise video (got 4gb or more worth of footage, and editing it on Final Cut was super easy).

Thanks to everyone that helped me make this decision !!!!

Thank you STEEMIT!!!

I enjoy your channel. Happy to use my Steem Power to support you!

thank you so much music steem!

Congrats. That is an awesome machine. I do sorely miss the 17 inch screen though. Hoping to see its return soon. I am running The Adobe Suite, Flame, Lightwave and more on the top of the line iMac, fully loaded. Cost me a ton of dough but I am so freaking happy. These machines scream.

#payitforward

ive been a fan of mac eversince especially the steve jobs days, i think if steve jobs is still alive today, apple will be much bigger because that guy is a genius in every single way

Did you buy it with steemit money?

Sadly didn't have enough steemit money for it, but it did help! trying to use steemit to support my video making project

Eventually you'll realize your goals if you keep it up. Your videos are awesome and have been very helpul.

I've been a Windows PC user all my life and I know the OS inside and out. I bought my first Mac in 2011 and I fell in love with the machine, but not the OS. I like Safari, I like that it is not as susceptible to viruses as Windows, and I love the hardware and the Magic Mouse. But, when I use the file system, I feel like I'm blindfolded and fumbling around in the dark. I guess I have too much Windows programming on my brain!

I still love windows for gaming. but for video editing, man final cut x is so easy to use and intuitive. Very suitable for noobs like me.

I know..I'm saving for FCP. iMovie is actually easy too.

i tried FCPX in the apple store and fell in love. imovie is very similar but i havn't tried it yet.

I bought a Mac book pro years ago and the hard drive went in it. It sat in my closet for close to 4 years.
I recently pulled it out and got a new HD for it and it's been purring ever since. I use it mostly for travel and it's 10x fold better then using an Ipad or phone.

definitely, ipad or phone isn't good enough for content production!

I have never owned a MacOS either. I would like to get one sometime in the near future. I'm glad you are enjoying it and it has made your life a bit more simple.

They are very reliable, I've enjoyed using them over the years!

It's no Nintendo 64 though.....

Totally agree, I bought a mac book pro 4 years ago, still works smoothly, never gave me any problem. I like how it's built, it's like a solid aluminium brick! :)
Congrats!

My 2009 white macbook JUST started giving me problems with the RAM. I'm sure if I put new sticks in everything would work fine but I use my desktop mostly anyways so it's not really worth it. But you'll thank yourself even more in a few years when you see how reliable they are :)
