Slow down and breathe!

We are living in a world where it feels everything is passing fast. And if we slow down we will lose the track. Getting busy is the new trend in our life. If anyone doesn't rush to work, don't share their stress; we tag them differently.

We spend so much time and energy to fit it, to be busy with everything. You will see this mostly in the youth. I'm not saying we can't be busy, but we are most likely forgetting to enjoy life. And we misinterpreted our business with happiness. This concept keeps us not being connected with life and miss the happy part. That's why we have happiness but missing peace of mind.

When we intentionally slow down our days, it helps us to become more present and mindful throughout our day. Giving thyself the time to enjoy every moment is a huge thing. When we don't rush one thing to another, it makes our life simple. Getting out of the idea that a 'busy life is better', is a tough job. But if you put intentional effort, it can be possible.


But I can't understand how impossible and tough this is to incorporate in our life. Because we have so many things in our to-do list. But putting some simple effort can bring the mindfulness. Like having a cup of coffee without checking the emails, or reading a book while not watching the TV or talking with people without checking the notifications. It's about being mindful, slow down, taking the time to enjoy and then go for another work.

Intentional slow down doesn't make us lazy, it gives us more meaning to our lives and makes it more enjoyable. Take your time to give yourself the time to breathe and enjoy life!
