Before buying a car, our options were walking or cycling the 10km to the nearest town, or hitching a lift.
During the week, there is little traffic on the roads and outside working hours the chances of hitching a lift are poor. Consquently, after two months I lost a couple of kgs in weight and thought twice about buying heavy items from the supermarket.
After two months of having a car, I stopped walking and seemed to forgot my bike. I became complacent and the pounds started to creep back on!
Yesterday, I resolved to change this and start walking the 2- hour walk into town again and only use my car once a week.
I´d like to share some photos of my walk with you.
