Psychic Dreams

Of all the different types of dreams psychic dreams must be one of the most enthralling, and our desire to understand them makes them even more so.

In some of my previous posts 1 2 3 4 5 I have had a look at various types of dreams, the art of dreaming has always been a great fascination of mine, and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy my finds with me.

It is believed that most people have psychic ability to some extent, however we are not all entuned with them. I remember as a child having what I believed was Psychic dreams; I remember being able to see what was to come in the near future as well as tune into my brothers dreams and have long conversations with him in his dreams, and the next morning he would come tell me all about it, but I already knew, because I was there.

What exactly is a Psychic Dream?

Psychic dreams can be defined as a dream that tunes into a persons natural psychic abilities and allows them to see more than there is to the eye on a psychic level, psychic dreams can very often be hard to identify and for the most part the dreamer won’t be able to differentiate them from normal dreams.

Often people rely on analytical dream interpretation when they feel that a dream has a certain meaning or reflects on deeper matters in this regard I suppose you can say that all dreams are psychic in their own way, but even this is deemed useless in determining whether or not a dream is truly a true psychic dream or just a dream that put us in touch with insight and introspection.

Only time and the intuitive mind can tell the difference.

Different types of psychic dreams:

Precognitive Dreams

This is the type of psychic dream that seems to show the dreamer a glimpse of the future, an example of this would be when the dreamer dreams of seeing a certain person you have not seen in some time or something that you are not expecting to see, and then encountering that person or thing in the near future, or even seeing the outcome of an event before it has actually occurred and then finding that the dream came true.
These types of dream are not always just good news, they can also be the barer of bad news or as I like to see them harsh life lessons, and might be accurate when it comes to revealing details small and big in these dream experiences.

Telepathic Dreams

This is considered a dream that intertwined with the consciousness of another person and in doing so accurately reveal his or her thoughts, deeds or situation. For example dreaming of a sick friend before you have heard that they are sick. These dreams are considered a demonstration of our ability to communicate with each other in a state of dreaming via telepathic channels, and allows the dreamer to communicate with loved ones despite physical distance.

Clairvoyant Dreams

Clairvoyant dreams can be quite remarkable as they are defined as a dream where the dreamer psychically connect with a situation or in some cases an object. These dreams include dreams of natural disasters and social events that are yet to come. An example of this will be having a dream of a flood then waking up and turning on the television seeing that there was a flood somewhere, very often these dreams contain undeniable details.
