I was lying in the shade on a mat in the mud with mismatched pillows, soaking up chilled folky sounds and it seemed the perfect angle and chance to snap a few scenes of the lush greenery that is flourishing in Nimbin (Australia). I love photographing action and people at festivals too but the natural backdrop in this gorgeous hippie town sets the tone of this event so well.
I called this mini photo series - Festival Foliage. A little botanical pick me up for a Wednesday night.
