I get it now

While I was quiet sitting on my backyard trying to read and understand about the tiny cell world, the composition of each of its organelles and a million of things about their proteins my not so concentrated reading was subtly interrupted by a (less tiny than a cell but little too) bird. This little friend was so tiny, delicated, fragile.
But as all we imagine our temporary friend wasn't going to stay for too long, so I saw it spread their wings and take flight, it was simple, it was common, nothing more extraordinary than the usual, I'm not going to lie about it, the only thing that was magical here was my understanding. I felt myself like that magic moment that Buddhist call "the lighting" then I was there seing the flight of a common bird and I get it, I finally get it. Could you imagine so much freedom? Could you imagine be really free? Society get us slaves who wait the whole year for vacations, slaves who wishes all day the time to get out of the job, college, school, rutine. Slaves who work and work, studies and studies to finally find a great job and work the rest of their youth, just looking for the moment to finally buy their freedom, their real "dreamed life" Which it translate at earn enough money to buy a beautiful house by the sea, a cabin in the mountains or a dreamed trip to spend their last days. This "Human Evolution" it has only taken us one thing, the essential, Freedom.
Birds are not all day thinking about what to wear, to buy a new phone, a car, jewelry, pay bills, buy a bigger house. They wear what they are and they dont care too much about the food, rely on that will always find something, nobody tells them where to go, there is a sublime beauty in the simplicity of this concept of life, we care daily by so many things that enslave us and most of them are not the essential, the essential it is to live boldly and love your life, but it's not in our nature live attached to the essential, It's in our human nature worried about every little thing, live free as birds is a privilege not given to us because we are thinking beings, we think and care.
