What is life?

An online dictionary defines life as an existence of humans and animals.

Life goes beyond mere existence to me and that thought alone has made me have a different view entirely which has caused a great shift on my paradigm.

We are all embodiment of experiences. Some are born with silver spoon, some are not, some had their parents till they grew old, some where orphaned from birth, some where left with heritage, some have to work their way up, some had mentors who could help them achieve their goals with ease, some did trial and error made some mistakes before attaining the desired success. All these are bunch of experiences. And this is part of life.

Over the years we have heard people define success by the accumulation of wealth, we have even had the normal rule of go to school, get a good grade, get a good job, get married, and you are good to go. Which is the reason many are miserable today. I have seen men who decide to do something different and achieve their dream but they were scorned by the society. (I am not an exception).

Last week I was in a YALI (Young African Leadership Initiative) face to face meet up where a prison officer shared his story of impact and how he cried like a baby in his office after discovering what life really is. (I will write on this soon)

I listen to Saeid Tafida also give his own story of impact and that made me know what life is. It has proven to me beyond reasonable doubt that I am on right track.

Sometime ago I was chatting with @antignenx who happen to be a medical doctor by profession, he was still in the office at that hour of the night when he told me he is got a delivery to make and I said to him;

"Go bring that child to the world"..

I call that living (Life).

Mandela, Ghandi, Luther King Jr, and many other lived so that others can have freedom that is life for me.

steemit came up with a wonderful idea of running social media on decentralized system to enable folks earn by being creative. This is life to me. Whenever what you do affect people around you positively and make them see reason to live. It called Life.

Life without impact is worthless. STOP EXISTING AND START LIVING.
