Holy polar vortex! Not even a month here and its the worst storm since 19 forever ago! haha! my life is such a journey... East Coast, including New York City, is set to get hit by freezing cold....cue to snow!
You will see in my blogs that I will write "I cant make this sh*t up" a million times, because that truly is my life...things that happen that I'm involved in on a daily basis are so out the norm...soo back to the storm. NYC is still open for business though on this snow day, and I've confirmed that at least 3 people I know are at work today.
No, no, not them, I don't know the snow plow people, but gosh they must be freezing no days off.
There is a winter storm warning...flash those red lights...today and throughout all the five boroughs. I'm honestly just glad that my amber alert didn't go off last night and wake me up into a state of panic, like it did during hurricanes in Florida, but this is NY, and Florida panics, New Yorkers kind of just don't...Oh, if you didn't know by now, I flew my self here to live from sunny south Florida...why in winter? because I like to put myself through abnormal circumstances...lol No, really I did, and my statement backing to the NY winter move is because I feel "If you cannot make it through NY winter, then you cannot make NY. period. Can I add a ® to that?

Okay so back to my original blog...Were expected today to get 3 to 6 inches of snow which could blanket the city, you know when I hear that, all I can think of is (cue to music from Disney's Frozen) dooooooo yooouuu wannnt tooo build a snooowmmmaaannnn?
But wait! Theres more NY! That’s not all: Once the snow passes sometime today, the city will be plunged into a deep freeze. Temperatures are predicted to be 40 degrees below what they normally are this time of year; in NYC, which means means brace yourself NY! We can plunge into the negatives.
Well, I guess the only plus to being fired on Christmas morning (via text..still bitter about that one) is that I don't need to brace this storm today. I can stay inside my nice warm apartment drinking hot cocoa and watching the storm through my window. joy
I will most defiantly be outside later today though, I want to build my first snowman!
WELCOME TO NYC
