One of The Greatest Rap Songs In History Of Rap

in life •  6 years ago  (edited)

Lupe Fiasco is a big influence for me, The Cool is one of my favorite albums.
This song is amazing! The elegant instrumental just going on and on with seamless rhymes
weaving through the fabric of our souls. Beautiful

I used to listen to the cool when I was like 17-18, it was one of the best times in my life when everything was just going perfect. I really enjoyed that and that album always brings back memories of that good time. the whole thing was just brilliant, Id say my favourite song would be streets on fire but theyre all class.

I loved food and liqour too but never got a chance to hear him again till recently, got that tetsuo & youth , some of the joints on there for my phone but I cant really connect with the rhymes as much right now probably cuz of these dam meds.

what did you think of his most recent album?

Connecting good memories to music, classic:) First song of Lupe I heard was Kick & Push. The track was so different than the records coming out at that time. He is one of the goats in my opinion, his complexity is a blessing and a curse though. He created a very loyal fan base, but the majority of hip hop won't consider him a goat. Seems like you missed all his bad albums like Lasers so all good. Dude heard a few joints of his new shit and it sounds like one of those albums you need to listen for years to pick up new meanings. Streets on fire has an epic beat omw. I love Dumb It down too. From F & L I like Daydreaming and Hurt Me soul the most perhaps.

I'm glad that he finished his contract with Atlantic Records, now he can do what he wants. His new album is like 1 hour 40 min so yeah lol. Btw his mixtapes before F & L is incredible, the man's wordplay is next level. He has like 10 mixtapes too, if you haven't heard it I suggest you dl it.

haha lol those were such good memories and the cool was like a dope ass soundtrack to it.

Yeah man that new album was crypically encoded with dopeness id say but I havent had another listen yet, definite replay value in his shit. Love all those songs you were saying about too man,

Ill get on that mixtape thing and have a listen for sure, always lookin for music I havent heard for inspiration.
