A Ball of Lemurs

A ball of sleeping Lemurs. They were so cute and I had an amazing opportunity to get super close to all of them. I was just a few feet away from them and popped my camera over the glass barrier.

The Lemurs were quite active, up until the decided to form the nap ball. They were digging tunnels, standing lookout and playing around.

Look how cute these damn things are! He was standing right at the glass watching a bird flying around at the top of the enclosure. There was a little toddler trying to pet him through the glass, which was also super cute. The Lemur just stood there and the little child was just in awe, a pretty cool sight to witness.

Time for some digging! As fun as this scene appears, it is in fact a bit morbid. If you look closely in the gif you can see one of the Lemurs going into a hole and the main digging Lemur buried him in! The little guy just kept piling dirt into the hole his friend ran down. My wife and I just kind of stood there for a while waiting to see if the Lemur ever resurfaced, he didn't. I sure hope he has a little tunnel system down there to survive in!
