Positive Mind in a Few Steps

The History has shown that those with an optimistic outlook on life are generally those who find success.

For me, changing my mental attitude from a negative to a positive resulted in a completely different lifestyle, both personally and professionally. When I changed my mentality and increased my positivism, I went from having multiple startups failed and a state of depression to start a successful applications business.

Here I share five tips that helped me to free myself from the negative mentality and to be more positive:

Show Gratitude.

One of the easiest ways to increase your positivism is by expressing gratitude. Be grateful for what you currently have. That immediately releases any negativity you are holding. Gratitude instantly puts you in touch with the feeling of love. Where love resides, fear and all negative denials disappear.

The best and simplest way to implement gratitude in your life is to express it every morning. When you get up, express 10 things that you appreciate. This list can be said aloud or in your mind, but it must be very detailed and come from your heart. Closing your eyes can also help.

Be generous.

Many times, negative feelings are caused by focusing on the perceived negative aspects of your life. You can instantly change this feeling by being generous with others.

Share your skills with the people around you. If someone seeks advice, give it to them. Do not doubt your value. Even the smallest gestures and the shared thoughts can cause a massive change in the perspective of other persons.

Control your breathing

It has been said that those who have the ability to control their breathing have the ability to control their life. In many ways, this argument is true. Think back to all the times when you lost control. What happened to your breathing pattern? When you get angry, your breathing becomes shorter and faster. If you control your breathing, you can understand and change your negative emotions.

Whether in a silent space or during meditation, practice following your breath. As you inhale (through the nose), feel the air enter your body and go deep into your lungs. When you reach the deepest part, feel the air leave your body (through your mouth) and release any tension.

Visualize your future

Taking advantage of your ability to visualize or imagine can be a very useful tool to be more positive. Many of the most successful minds of our time, including Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods and Arnold Schwatzenegger have been known to use the power of visualization to bring that desire to life. Because you do not do it?

Start by closing your eyes. Think of a positive event that has happened to you. In the eyes of your mind, see the event exactly as it happened. Get inside the event and feel the positive emotions as they happened. When you open your eyes, allow yourself to stay in this positive state. The effects of visualization can be multiplied by means of meditation.

Meditate.

Meditation is one of the most effective ways to increase your level of positivism. The practice of meditation expands individual recognition and allows a clear connection between mind, body and spirit. Through meditation, you can learn to release negative emotions that are driving you back to connect with your being.

Find a comfortable and quiet place to sit, lie down or whatever you prefer. Close your eyes, breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax. By breathing deeply, feel how you let go of all the emotions that hold you back. With each breath, let go a little more. As you let go, realize that the world around you is made with love and allow yourself to live with this love.

Remember that everything you propose in life you can do it.

I usually upvote any post I reply to, but I'm VP'd out. While a great post, you need your basic needs met and by met I mean by Western standards. This is only valid for the already privileged to help maintain or improve their already great life compared to the other 90% of the world.

Not trying to be funny, but I'm 45 years old and have never set foot in a first world country run by white (and I am one!) or advanced Asian people. This post is great for Koreans and Americans. Not helping those of us who don't know where our next meal will come from...

I think that if possible, I briefly explain why, if you live in a place where you do not know if you eat the next plate of food, you should go out and find a way out of that situation and how can you do it? Being pessimistic or negative? not true ... being optimistic and positive at all times to get out of the bottom. Greetings and thanks for commenting and taking the time to read me.
