Children of the schism - Cards Against AnarchysteemCreated with Sketch.

The title of this bit pertains to the below video of the same name on RT Documentary. In summary, the people mentioned below are Russian "Old Believers" who went hermetic or exiled themselves and some are trying to adapt to returning to the Russian Federation.

I include it here not only because I found the story fascinating but also because it portrays a lifestyle out of the mainstream.

And "schism" reminds me of the divide between "left-anarchists" and "right-anarchists," or anarcho-communists and anarcho-capitalists, or however you may have to call them. The rivalry for being right between those two is above and beyond disagreements you see between any other two labels among anarchists.

I am a proponent of anarchism without adjectives. The hangups on any side make my eyes roll.

And luckily the "schism" between labels within the anarchist community does not have consequences like those shown in the video.

I have no cards for this one.

Love and laughs,
Cards Against Anarchy.
