Hi @damarth
I am from Venezuela, last year there were many protests for wanting to live in a better country, a free one. During those protests I was arrested by the police unjustly and was held in one of the worst places for detainees for four days, this place is called "El Helicoide". During those days I met many people with bad intentions, and I do not mean the rest of the prisoners, but the authorities as such. I was fortunate not to receive physical abuse but many of my colleagues did not run with the same luck. In a country where the separation of powers does not exist, the chances of getting out of jail just for demand a change of government were almost implosible. However, I always believe that I have an angel protecting me, that angel got me a judge who did not let himself be influenced by his superiors. On the day of the preliminary hearing the judge decided that there was no evidence for my arrest, he released me and declare the detention record void, thus leaving my records clean. All that experience left me a lot to think and learn. I do not regret anything because they made me grow as a person and as a Venezuelan.
