Receiving My A Level Results and Getting a Place at Kent University!

Hello all, so sorry that I haven't been on Steemit for 10 WHOLE DAYS! It seems crazy how quickly the time passed as the longest I've been away from this awesome platform before, has been 3 days. Now you're probably wondering the reason that I have been absent. Now I'm not trying to make excuses, but I have been very busy. I've been working full-time over the summer which is very tiring and time consuming. As well as this, I've been getting prepared for University, which I will start at in just under a month. So let me tell you a little more about that...

I received my A Level results yesterday and was very happy with what I got. Despite the fact that I didn't do as well as some of my friends, I managed to pass all of my subjects and obtain a place at my chosen university which was Bath Spa. However, on the day my dad told me that he thought it would be a good idea to try and get into a higher ranking university through clearing. I'd previously really wanted to go to Kent university as this was where my dad also went to, however I didn't have high enough predicted grades to get in. Luckily I managed to grab a place through clearing and will be heading there in September.

A few of my friends from college are also going there, so it'll be an exciting fresh start to my new life in Canterbury. I will really miss it here in Cambridge where I live however. Obviously I won't get to see the majority of my friends and family until the holidays, which will be really sad. I'm also really going to miss my boyfriend Robin as well, as he's going to be studying in Aberystwyth in Wales. I don't know the exact distance but it is VERY far away from Canterbury.

I hope that everyone else who was receiving their A Level results today was happy with what they got. If you didn't get the best grades, remember that it isn't the end of the world. There ARE other options and grades aren't everything!
