Hey Jessifers
Who among us has not sent someone that in a text as a prelude to talking about a special craving they're having? I know I have.
We live in a world where many of us have most if not all of our needs satisfied each day with relative ease and we take this for granted. We don't hunt for good, we don't need to look or solidify our shelter, we don't need to get rid of our waste by hand, or source water. Yes, some of the worlds still have those tasks but if you're fucking around on the blockchain I'm pretty sure you don't and if you do it's by choice so shut up about it you homesteader.
When the craving strikes
Since we're such a spoilt people we now can look forward to and complain about cravings we have, seriously if you ever wanted an indication of how far we've come, then it has to be this. We cane at out of pleasure, boredom or just for the experience.
Right now I'm personally craving some fried chicken, I have not had it in a while and I know its not good for me but hell, I'd rather die satisfying that urge than live a long life in absence of it.
I also often get cravings for popcorn it's one of my favourite snacks, I really love popcorn for reals. Sometimes its the best part of the movie and if it's not the movie experience won't be as epic as it could have been.

My cravings always start when I'm hungry..healthy eating goes out of the window.
I have this habit when I eat healthy, I reduce my calorie intake and end up with my stomach rumbling for food.
Its a vicious circle.

Lol I often fall for the same thing and then I’ll binge or eat something unhealthy and I’ll regret it but I’ve been telling myself not to have negative feelings towards food! Food is food I just need to keep the moderation of certain ones In check!
Sometimes your body needs a reward to lift your spirits and what better way than your favourite snack

It's Jessie again... I didn't have any cravings until I read this.. 😂 Thanks for nothing? 🤔 Jokes. I have cravings all the time for my favorite foods back in SA. We suffer on this rock as absolutely NOTHING tastes the same as back home. Except for McDonald's which we had yesterday.. That bland all burgers in every country taste the same taste.. 😂 Men in my house (hubby and my son) gets hangry when they go without food. But yes. We're on the blockchain and we're certainly blessed with having more than enough to eat without having to beg, borrow or steal. My heart goes out to those who are hungry and cold. 😔

Lol it’s funny how cravings can sneak up on you and all self control heads out the window!
It can’t be all bad? Is there anything their that you’ve found that you’ve really liked? Have you tried many of their local places? Food is such an important part of immersing into other cultures!
But I would say South Africans do tent to enjoy eating like kings, so anything less is sub par! Lol we love to eat

We try the local foods daily. Some become new favorites... Others.. Blegh.. 😂 I'm not big on all the curry and weird veggies.. I'll put a post on that sometime. But even familiar products from home tastes different. It's weird. And home products like chutney, mayonnaise, marmite, are either hugely expensive or not available. We make do... 😂 But our cooking has gone for the birds.. I love the vegetables markets though. Very cool. Hectic crazy but nice experience.

I suspect from reading my blog that should be clear. Craving cannabis when I don't have it. Food is luckily no problem for me. I eat when I am hungry and I usually have a good intuition of what my body wants to have. So, I don't know about your chicken but it might actually be that you need some vitamin b12, fat and minerals (salt) or whatever your body combines with a craving for chickens?!?
Oh, craving for chickens. I actually do! I want to have some sweet little chicken running around me all day!

We all have our own vices some have cannabis others have chocolate! All about stimulating those pleasure receptors having impulses is what makes us human but then again smombies also have cravings! Hmmm are they human?
