Work for India's largest hi-tech aquarium is going on at Fatehsagar, Udaipur, India. Government has approved this project as a place to gain knowledge as well as to boost tourism.

We decided to start a signature campaign to aware people about consequences of aquariums and at the same time encouraging them to register their protest by signing a petition against upcoming aquarium in Udaipur.

Before starting this campaign we (myself and @xyzashu) met leading Jain sant Acharya Sunil Sagar ji and he extended his full support to our campaign.

Our target is to collect 5000 signatures on this petition and hand over it to government minister under whom this project is executing.

Why we are against aquariums?
It is a well known fact that no aquarium on this planet could provide a natural environment for aquatic animals. All aquariums and marine-mammal theme parks are billion-dollar industry built on the suffering of intelligent, social beings who are denied everything that is natural and important to them.
Aquariums are nothing but a prison for all aquatic animals, and excuses given in favor of aquariums like it is necessary to know about aquatic life is baseless and ridiculous. Opposite to that in aquariums captive animals always live in stress and fall sick so unable to perform their natural activities which we want to see in the aquarium.

I request you to register your protest against this project in comments, we would love to raise your voice through this petition.
Thanks.
