Does your Grandma Know About Steemit and Bitcoin?

Does your Grandma Know About Steemit and Bitcoin, and if not, why not?

If you believe, as I do, that it's wise to diversify your assets, even if you only have a little, then you have cryptocurrencies, maybe a few silver coins, as well as some emergency cash.

Perhaps, your grandparents aren't quit ready to make the leap to Bitcoins. They might, however, like to express their opinions on life, liberty, and the pursuit of justice. Show them how they can say what they want to and earn while they do it.

Even if they aren't interested, they will appreciate that you care enough to talk to them about it and they may surprise you.

It may even shock you if they already have Bitcoin.

I love the concept of Grandparent-adoption of these technologies. I'm sure there are a few savvy older people out there!

Unfortunately, as I look around steemit, It seems that there are even many younger people that do not grasp the concept of adding value and utilizing the potential of the platform. It's as if they read a website article about "The secret to make tons of money online in four BRUTAL steps!"

1- Sign up for a ton of credit cards with cashback.
2- Sell your junk on ebay.
3- Watch millions of ads for a two dollar giftcard.
4- Post on steemit.

This is unfortunate, and shows that a lot of people aren't getting the whole point.

BUT that is why I loved your post! A grandchild who knows how to use bitcoin and steemit spending a few quality hours introducing them to these concepts sounds wonderful!

"Sure, Grandpa, teach me how to play the saxophone, would you be interested to learning how to STEEM?"
