I recently watched How Big Oil Conquered the World.

This was the most eye-opening documentary I have ever watched and I highly recommend for you to subscribe to Corbett Report on Youtube and follow Corbett's website to stay informed on the elitist's plans to take over our world!

@corbettreport is also posting on Steemit, Corbett Report is one of my personal favorite independent news outlets.

I have already released Part #1, Part #2, Part #3, Part #4, Part #5 and Part #6 of this series. I highly recommend for you to read through these first to better understand this post.

Today I will inform you of the story of how alcohol prohibition played a part in Standard Oil's monopolization.

Alcohol Prohibition

In the 19th century, America had an alcohol addiction.

In fact, the average person over 15 years old drank several gallons of pure alcohol per year, three times higher than today’s mean average.

Anti-Alchol Groups

In the 1830s, the first anti-alcohol movements began. This traversed towards the Prohibition Party in 1869 and the Women’s Christian Temperance Union in the 1870s.

These groups were widely accepted but had little to no political successes.

Maine was the first state in America to outlaw alcohol, however this only lasted 5 years.

The First Moves Towards Prohibition

Began in Ohio in 1893, this was Standard Oil's home state.

The Anti Saloon League was created!

ASL was founded by John D. Rockefeller's long time friend Howard Hyde Russell.

Howard was paid generously by Rockefeller to run the nation's largest anti alcohol initiative!

Prohibition Arrives!

When alcohol was prohibited, it did not stop people using it as ethanol fuel. It simply created a law which made anyone who manufactured alcohol fuel to add petroleum products to their products before distribution.

Alcohol fuel, now completely unable to compete with gasoline, was abandoned altogether by the automobile industry. LINK

The Next Step: Public Transport

After World War I, the ownership of a private motor vehicle was rare. Approximately only 1 in 10 American citizens owned a car.

Railroad trains remained as the favored mode of transport for the nation.

In 1936, General Motors formed a front company, “National City Lines”. They also created Firestone Tire and Standard Oil of California.

Streetcars and railways were scraped to create General Motor's buses which ran on Standard Oil diesel.

The Truth Is Revealed!

In 1946, Edwin J. Quinby wrote a manifesto exposing the oiligarch's stock ownership of National City Lines and detailed how they had bought up and destroyed the the public transportation in Baltimore, Los Angeles.

Federal prosecutors indicted him for conspiring to create a public transport monopoly.

These oiligarchs were fined and jailed, but not for long.
